Two families meet and collide in the heat of Carolina Low Country in this lyrical beginning to the Brotherhood of Souls Romantic Adventure Series.
Beauville is a town that's late to the 21st century. The Covingtons don't color out of the lines. The Souls don't have any lines.
Darren and his brothers are fixtures in the lives of Sarah Covington. From the day he rode up her driveway when she was just a girl to the horrible day he left her at eighteen, Darren's marks on Sarah's life fill her coming of age with passion, desire and the frustration that comes from wanting someone you cannot have.
The quartet wild boys each have their own set of devils to conquer. In Brothers, you are introduced to the world of the Souls and the girls who will be tangled up in the saga of rebellion and adventure as their lives unfold.
All of the Brotherhood of Souls romance novels are five-chili sizzlingly sexy and meant for readers who love a good dose of heat with a page turning story. These are adult and steamy romantic adventures.
Darren and Wyatt are also available now. Each Soul sibling has his own unique romantic story to tell. Noah and Harlan will follow soon.
"He kissed me a kiss that was not my first kiss, nor the longest, nor the most urgent I'd had in my young life. But it might as well have been the only kiss I'd ever had."
The Brotherhood of Souls Series
This series is composed of five interconnected stand-alone novels that tell the stories of Grayson, Wyatt, Darren and Noah Soul as well as their cousin Harlan .

I really enjoyed this story and found a new author to follow. The storyline was really great and grabbed my attention from the start and kept it the entire time. The perfect prime daughter Sarah falls for the tough looking guy. Darren is the ultimate sexy guy. Not only has the look but the brains to go along with it.Their chemistry is hot and shimmering and I kept reading and waiting for one of them to act upon it.
When they finally went further than kissing in the barn it was everything you could think of until they got interrupted and Sarah freaked out.
Poor Darren., but only if she can make it up to him and explain.
She is excited to start a new chapter in her college life where it's not a small town and she's expected to be a certain way and she can finally just fit in like a normal girl.
This is a great book and I can't wait to read the next one and see what else the Soul brothers have in store for us.

Brothers Brotherhood of Souls Book 1 edition by KC Falls Contemporary Romance eBooks Reviews
This is an exceedingly well written story of the tribulations of coming of age in the proper south. This is the first book by this author I have read, and I found it fast and steady, covering several dilemmas that real life can throw at a person. The characters are realistic and the attention to details is rich and captivating. I look forward to reading more by this author in the near future. A great tale for anyone looking for reality and love without all the mushy fake vows of eternal pledging. A solid 4 stars!
Well as for this just being the beginning to the brotherhood I can't say that I like Sarah at all right now she is truly just an uppity little twat. I hope that in the passing years she had grown up expeditiously. The one thing I'm really getting tired of is authors that right the title book about a certain person but the pov is based entirely on someone else. If the this book is based off a family of men then why in the heck are they not the pov. Only they can tell the story I don't want hearsay or I think this is what happened. How can someone else tell someone's story better than hea
Darren Soul, the small town hired farm hand and one of the towns best looking guys, is working for the towns wealthy "Covington's". Sarah Covington has known Darren most of her life and lusted for him since a very young age. Darren has never given Sarah must notice until she turns 18 and is about to go away to college. Sarah has only ever wanted Darren but he sees her as the "rich, snobby, bitch, above everyone else, including him. Sarah wants to change his mind. This was a quick read and spun a little too fast towards the end of the book, in preparation for book 2. Good story but seems to sped you up and drop you.
A coming of age YA/NA highschool crush turned into a one night where mistakes were done, and words left unspoken. Then it ends, with book 2 supposedly picking up the slack. I did skip through parts of the book, I found it boring.
I really like this book. It felt very Southern and tugged at that part of me that remembers. I liked the main characters; I could feel their attraction, their heat, their affection for each other. When Sarah came home after being away, I thought she was a bit mean to Darren. I can see why she did it, but it seemed a bit over the top, especially since he was being so kind to her. The fact that the author's characters didn't use condoms was a little disturbing to me -- I'm so used to safe sex practices in books -- but it didn't diminish my enjoyment of the story. The writing was melodic and fresh, and even some minor problems didn't bother me that much. I'll read more from this author!
This was a good book and gave us the background of the main characters, Sarah and Darren. They met when he came to work for her father he as 15 and she was 11. She saw him day in and day out and at first he was tolerant and just a bit unkind. We go through the years until she is 16 when he kisses her by now he's a little over 19 and going off to college. High school is ending for Sarah and at the graduation party they meet in the hay loft and have sex. Mind you Sarah has always admired Darren from afar and he knows it. This book is t really a stand alone. At the end you know there is a 'to be continued'. Normally I only read stand alone books as it gets expensive trying to buy series. Their relationship isn't resolved and that's why there's a need for book 2.
I hate getting almost to the end of a book and realizing there is no HEA, or to some degree a cliffhanger/continuation in a book #2.
This book just was okay for the first half but then began to drag. I finally started jumping ahead in chunks but it just wasn't getting better so I jumped toward the end and low and behold, no HEA for this couple at this time.
Rich society, southern girl has a crush on poor, older Darren Soul from a neighboring family that works on the plantation for her father. Years later she finally gets the kiss she has dreamed of and then he leaves. Two years later Sarah hopes for more now that she is 18 and leaving for college. But Sarah's immaturity shows in how she deals with things and a larger wedge is drilled between the two, including many more years of wait and see, and oh yeah, buy the next book to find out what happens.
